You can color these pages on your digital device or on paper. Here is how to do it. 

Digitally: You can color these pages on your iPad using coloring software like Procreate. Click on the image – it will open up in a new tab. Save the coloring page image onto your computer. Import it to your iPad. The coloring software programs offer a variety of brushes and colors, allowing you to fill in the areas with precision. You can easily undo any mistakes, try out endless color combinations, and even save different versions of your colored page.

Procreate is only an iOS app, available only on Apple devices. There are also alternatives to Procreate available for Android and Windows too. I have not tried them myself but apps like Autodesk SketchBook and Krita (which is also free!) offer similar functionality. The downside with digital processing is of course the learning curve; the best results in digital image processing will need the user to become an online artist.

Of course, you can do it the old way: on paper. In fact, I have a feeling that if you will do it with your child or grandchild, this will be the medium of choice! In which case I also have a recommendation: use only non-toxic colors, like these ones from Amazon which are made with beeswax.

If you prefer the old method: To color the pages by hand, you’ll first need to save the images to your computer. After saving them, open the files and select the print option. Make sure your printer is loaded with paper and has enough ink.

You can print as many copies as you like, which is great for testing out different color schemes or if you want to start over. Once printed, set yourself up with a comfortable space, good lighting, and your favorite coloring tools like pencils, markers, or crayons, and enjoy the hands-on experience of coloring.

And if you choose paper, I recommend use thicker paper like cardstock 8.5×11 or thicker inkjet paper. These can be printed in a regular printer and are sturdy enough to allow coloring.
